2025 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is available in five trims: the S, SV, SL, Rock Creek, and Platinum. Each comes with LED low and high beam headlights and a V-Motion grille with a three-slot design. Both the S and SV have 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with P255/60HR18 all-season tires, while the SL offers standard 18-inch wheels, with optional 20-inch dark-painted aluminum-alloy wheels if you choose the SL Premium Package. The Rock Creek stands out with its black grille and 18-inch beadlock-style aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped in P265/60HR18 all-terrain tires. The Platinum has 20-inch machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels with P255/50HR20 all-season tires. All models feature box fenders, wraparound LED taillights, and optional two-tone paint options such as Boulder Gray with Super Black roof.

The 2025 Pathfinder has a powerful 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve six-cylinder engine paired with a responsive nine-speed automatic transmission that produces 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. The Rock Creek features a specially tuned version of the same engine that generates 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. This extra power is ideal for climbing steep hills or crawling over rocky trails.

The 2025 Pathfinder offers a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds when properly equipped, which is ideal for boats, campers, or trailers. Its intelligent four-wheel-drive system with direct coupling pairs with seven drive and terrain modes, including Snow, Rain, Sand, Dirt, and Gravel, to adapt to changing conditions. The front-wheel-drive models accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive versions complete this sprint in 6.6 seconds. The Rock Creek adds an off-road tuned suspension for stability on rough terrain. Hill-start assist prevents backward rolling on inclines, while hill-descent control maintains steady downhill speeds.

The 2025 Pathfinder comfortably accommodates eight passengers. It offers a cargo capacity of 16.6 cubic feet behind the third row, which expands to 45 cubic feet with the third row folded and 80.5 cubic feet with all the rear seats down. Optional second-row captain's chairs with a removable center console offer premium comfort while maintaining third-row access. Heated front seats and tri-zone automatic climate control enhance comfort, while higher trims also offer a ventilated front-seat function. The Platinum's semi-aniline leather makes long drives more enjoyable.

The 2025 Pathfinder earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety with Good ratings in all crash tests.
